New York's St. Patrick's Cathedral has, at least on one occasion, organized a two-plane his pilgrimage to Knock, and Bishop Cushing of Boston has led 400 New England pilgrims to the revered shrine. From May to October, organized his pilgrimages are made every Sunday; and on Assumption Day, August 15, an Ireland-wide private his pilgrimage occurs, for the purpose of keeping vigil at the shrine.
