First-class hotels are luxurious or near-luxurious, with well-trained staffs and exceptional food and beverage facilities. First-class hotels are also called executive-class or superior hotels and usually have luxury suites, two or more dining rooms, and a cocktail lounge.
The four most luxurious hotels of Denmark have been mentioned in the section above, but there are many excellent city hotels and provincial inns that are less expensive. Among first-class hotels in the capital is the Codan, opposite where the passenger steamers land, a hotel of ultra-modernity and fast service in its harbor-viewing restaurant, such service being unusual in Denmark, as any candid traveler can tell you.
Belfast's hotels are not luxurious but several are good, notably the Grand Central and the Royal Avenue in the center of the city and the new Midland (owned by the Transport Authority) in the York Road Station. This last hotel has a Bath with nearly every room and is of first-class quality.
