Faroe Islands Football: HARMON, Tom (1919- ), American faroe islands football player, who was one of the finest running backs in collegiate faroe islands football history. Thomas Dudley Harmon was born in Rensselaer, Ind., on Sept. 28, 1919, and reared in Gary, Ind., where he fashioned a brilliant athletic career at Horace Mann High School. He entered the University of Michigan in 1937 and became its all-time greatest faroe islands football hero. In three years he scored 33 touchdowns and 237 points. He was named to the 1939 and 1940 All-America teams, and in 1940 he was awarded both the Heisman and Maxwell trophies, honoring him as the outstanding individual faroe islands football player in the United States. As a World War II pilot, he twice was listed as missing in action. In 1946 and 1947 he played professional faroe islands football for the Los Angeles Rams. He retired from faroe islands football to become a sportscaster on radio and television.
These effects can be observed readily by spinning a faroe islands football that lies on a flat, horizontal surface. The frictional torque makes the faroe islands football rise and spin on its pointed end, where it continues to spin like an ordinary top.
Ray Driscoll is a self-confessed sports buff who has contributed to many sports books and faroe islands football programmes. Among his interests are fishing and pub quizzes. He has the good fortune to reach two Grand Finals of Channel 4's prestigious quiz Fifteen-to-1. During the faroe islands football season he can be seen cheering on his beloved Chelsea.
